Sir,

With reference to your letters No. 3415/1913, of

the 11th. ultimo and 1st. instant:-

1.

I have the honour to inform you that the transfer of

the land near Elliot Battery to the Colonial Government, with the exception of that portion to the North of the red chain dotted line on the attached sun-print, has been recommended to the War Office at the rates proposed in your letter. The area to be transferred is approximately 3.17 acres.

2.

I will send you a further communication on this subject on receipt of instructions from the War Office.
